-Dr.Cserni Gábor's material • 67-year-old female, with a non-palpable 25x20 mm mass lesion with partial loss of contours in the upper outer quandrant of the right breast. • 2 years ago a left sided mastectomy was performed for a grade II invasive ductal carcinoma (NST) with a single lymph node metastasis (1/25); she received no adjuvant therapy. • Mammography and ultrasound suggest malignancy (R5, U5), the cytology report suggests a suspicious lesion (C4). Needle core bi...

-Dr.Cserni Gábor's material • 53-year-old female investigated for single duct blood stained discharge. Her mammogram showed no obvious lesions but a dense breast. She had single ductectomy for a filling defect on ductography coupled with a benign (C2) preoperative nipple discharge cytology (and a wire localization excision of a 7-mm-large solid mass noticed on ultrasonography which had an atypical, probably benign (C3) ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration cytology before. This la...

- Dr. Cserni Gábor's material • 44-year-old female, with a right sided palpable breast lump which she noticed 3 weeks ago. The lump was said to be fast growing. • Both mammography and breast ultrasound suggested a circumscribed lesion, measuring 8 cm in greatest dimension. • Local excision removed 309 g of breast tissue, and within this there was an 8x5x4,5 cm large relatively circumscribed tumor of dominantly solid, but partially cystic type. On palpation this was firm...

- Dr.Cserni Gábor's material 59-year-old female, referred to our mammography unit for a benign looking mass lesion with C4 (suspicious) fine needle aspiration cytology result. • A non-palpable 9 mm mass lesion was seen in the lower inner quandrant of the left breast and was categorized as R2U2 (benign). A core needle biopsy was performed to prove the benign nature. • Subsequently a wire localization was performed.
